| Two Letterboxes that were painted Gold after the 2012 Olympic Games |
On September 28th 2016. the City of Leeds gave the
Yorkshire Olympic Medallists a Heroes Welcome.
Setting off from the Civic Hall in a series of Open Buses and cars, the Olympians and Paralympian's all were cheered along the route
Some of the Olympians present included the Brownlee Brothers, Jonathan and Alastair, Hannah Cockroft, Kadeena Cox,
Andrew Triggs-Hodge, Nile Wilson and Stephen Bates.
